Stanley Earl Wyrick
September 6, 1963 – March 21, 2023
Mr. Stanley Earl Wyrick, 59, of Vivian Louisiana, formerly of Stamps Arkansas passed away peacefully at the North Caddo Medical Center in Vivian Louisiana, Tuesday evening March 21, 2023 after complications from a recent illness. Stanley loved life and was a lifetime, diehard, Dallas Cowboys Fan.
Stanley was born to the late Mr. Robert Charles (Pete) Wyrick and the late Mrs. Vernice Davis-Wyrick on September 6. 1963 at Lafayette County Memorial Hospital in Lewisville, Arkansas. Stanley was a fun-loving, hardworking man who was an employee at the Falcon Furniture Plant until the facility closed.
He loved his family and no matter where he was seen, he was there with a huge, infectious smile and some kind of clowning. He loved motorcycle riding, his parents, siblings, daughter, granddaughter, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a proud Stamps High School Yellowjacket and graduated in the Class of 1981.
Stanley was preceded in death by both of his parents, all of his grandparents and his sister, Clifton Ann Wyrick-Trotter and his former wife, Betty Jo Matlock-Wyrick. He is survived by his only daughter and granddaughter, Kamari and Brooklyn Wyrick of Texarkana, Arkansas. Three brothers, Robert (Adrienne) Wyrick of Waldo, Arkansas, Eugene Davis of Tempe, Arizona and Hodge (Bonnie) Walker of Stamps, Arkansas. Three Sisters, Doris Gregory of Memphis Tennessee, Beatrice (Hector) Tachiquin of Las Vegas, Nevada and Rachel Wyrick of Detroit, Michigan. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and former co-workers.
His service is set for Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street, Stamps, Arkansas 71860, where Rev. James Curtis (Sam) Davis will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. There will be a public viewing at the chapel on Friday March 31, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M. Interment will be immediately following the service at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Highway 53 South of Stamps.
Masks are optional but for the sake of those who are around, in front of, beside and behind, recommended to keep everybody safe and healthy.
