Mr. Robert L. Henderson
November 4, 1951 – February 16, 2024
Mr. Robert Lee Henderson, 72, of Magnolia, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday February 16, 2024. He was surrounded by family members. Mr. Henderson was a former maintenance manager at the Columbia County Courthouse. He was a devout Christian and rarely missed a church service with his wife.
Mr. Henderson was born to the late Mr. Chester Leroy Henderson and the late Mrs. Ruthie Gibson-Henderson, November 4, 1951, in Magnolia, Arkansas. He had spent most of his life in or around the Magnolia, Columbia County Area.
He was preceded in death by both is parents and is survived by to share his loving memories, his wonderful wife, Mrs. Mollie Henderson, his sons, Mr. Robert Henderson, Sr., Mr. Duane Henderson, and Mr. Demetris Henderson. His daughters, Ms. Chere Wortham and Ms. Chandra Henderson. His bonus children, Mr. Christopher Cooper, Ms. Joyce West, and Ms. Tyimeka West. Two brothers, Mr. Larry Henderson, and Mr. Roy Henderson. Eleven grandchildren, Carmen, Autumn, Robert, Jr., JaQuon, Demontreize, Domonique, Tashara, Randy, C.J., Gabriel and Christopher. Thirteen great-grandchildren, Cameron, Noah, Nevaeh, Nolan, Noel, Aubrey, Caroline, Legend, Taylandon, Mayjor, Legendary, Khalil and Kahlani, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and former co-workers.
His service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 24, 2024, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 930 Columbia Road 18; Taylor, Arkansas 71861 where Pastor Courtney Wilson will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. There will be a public visitation at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street: Stamps, Arkansas 71860, Friday February 23, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M.
Masks are optional but highly recommended. Please be mindful and respectful to those who may be beside, behind or in front of you for the sake of everyone’s health and wellbeing.
Interment will be immediately following his service in the St. Paul Cemetery.
