N’Gai Lamart Williams

December 29, 1969 – April 10, 2024

Mr. N’Gai Lamart Williams, 54, of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Stamps, Arkansas passed away peacefully in a Little Rock Arkansas Hospital on the evening of Wednesday April 10, 2024, where his last hours of life were spent with some of his family members.  He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and cousin. 

He was born to the late Mr. Major Williams, Jr. and the late Mrs. Earnestine Hughey-Williams, December 29, 1969.  He was preceded in death by both his parents and a brother, Mr. Eric Lamont Pree.  He is survived by and leaves to share his many memories, two sons, Mr. Khristian Williams of Denver, Colorado, and Mr. TaMarcus Williams Miles of Longview, Texas.  One brother, Dr. Alaric A. Williams of Minot, North Dakota.  Two sisters, Ms. Cynthia Wilson Perry of Texarkana, Texas and Ms. LaCheryl Mauls of Magnolia, Arkansas.  His bonus mother, Mrs. Bama Williams of Stamps, Arkansas, three aunts, Ms. Joyce Sterling and Ms.Lazell Williams of Camden, Arkansas and Ms. Linda Williams of Stamps.  One uncle, Mr. Rickey Williams of Stamps, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Williams spent his early years in Stamps and later moved to Texarkana, Texas.  He was a fun-loving man who lived his life to the fullest and was almost never seen without a smile.  He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and planting gardens where he called himself “Farmer Will.”  He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys Fan. 

His service will be held at Chapel wood Memorial Gardens, 826 N. Kings Highway, Wake Village, Texas 75501, Saturday April 20, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. under the direction of Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home.  There will be a public viewing at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street, Stamps, Arkansas 71860, Friday April 19, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M. 

Masks are optional but highly recommended.  We have to be considerate of those who are to our left and right, in front of and behind us for the sake of their health, safety and well-being.
