He was preceded in death by, his parents, all of his siblings leaving him the last of their seventeen children and one son, Donnie.  He is survived by five sons, Billy Satterwhite of Sidney, Ohio, Jerry Satterwhite, Larry Satterwhite, Rickey Satterwhite and Thomas Satterwhite all of Stamps, Arkansas.  Six daughters, Bonnie Cody of Piqua, Ohio, Kathy Smith of Stamps, Arkansas, Sherry Madison of Stamps, Arkansas, Pamela Sharp of Texarkana, Arkansas, Vickie Satterwhite-Scott of Stamps, Arkansas and Christie (Ethan) Dunbar of Lewisville, Arkansas.  At last count, sixty-one grandchildren, one hundred twenty-nine great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
