Katrina L. Lovely
December 15, 1960 – March 30, 2024
Mrs. Katrina L. Lovely, 63 of Lancaster, California, formerly of Falcon, Arkansas passed away peacefully in a Lancaster California hospital after a long bout with sickness. Mrs. Lovely was a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and cousin. She was a published author, a recoding artist, a business owner and most importantly, a child of God who served as First Lady for New Hope Baptist Church in Lancaster, California, and Minister of Music there.
She was born to the late Mr. Frank Moss and the late Mrs. Lillie Mae Hopson-Moss on December 15, 1960, in Prescott, Arkansas where she was number ten of twelve children. She was preceded in death by both parents, siblings and in-laws, Delvin, LynDale, Lynette, and James as well as a host of other relatives.
She is survived by and leaves to share her many precious memories, her husband, Pastor Kennith Lovely, nine siblings, Alliree (Travis) Earvin, Karolyn (Mitchell) Jackson, Franklin Moss, RoseMery (Bobby), Sharon, Debra (Conway), Cynthia (James) Beasley, and Vickii (Malcolm) and a host (slew) of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and fellow Christians. One aunt, Ms. Vira Hopson and one uncle, Mr. Thomas (Freddie Mae) Williams.
Her service will be held at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 303 Nevada Road 4, Buckner, Arkansas 71827, Saturday April 13, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., where Pastor William Haynes will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. Interment will be immediately after her service in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family has stated that there will not be a public viewing or visitation.
Masks are Optional but highly recommended. We should be mindful of those who are to our left and right, or behind and in front of us for the sake of everybody’s health and well-being.
