Ms. Joan S. Green

Ms. Joan S. Green, 65, of Fulton, Arkansas, passed away in a Tyler, Texas Hospital, surrounded by family members. Ms. Green was a lifetime resident of Fulton, Arkansas and was a beloved, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and cousin. She was a substitute teacher and had worked for Tyson Foods for many years.
Ms. Green was born to the late Mr. Aaron Smith, Jr. and the Late Mrs. Elnora Nash-Smith, September 13, 1958, in Fulton, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by both parents, her mother most recently in January of last year and one brother, Mr. Leroy Smith, Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Mr. Mercldes Green and Mr. Stefan Green. One brother, Mr. Joe Smith of Hope, Arkansas. Four sisters, Ms. Nancie Roberts, Mrs. Ruby (Andrew) Robinson, Mrs. Gracie (Maurice) Henry, and Ms. Alma McKillion all of Fulton, Arkansas. Fifteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and former fellow co-workers.
Her service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Charity Missionary Baptist Church, 5210 Highway 67 West Culton, Arkansas 71838, where Pastor Jessie Henry will serve as Officiant and Elder Elvis Scott will serve as Eulogist. There will be a public visitation at Charity Baptist Church, Friday March 8, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.
Masks are optional but highly recommended. Please be mindful and respectful of those who may be in front of, behind, or beside you for the sake of their and your health and well-being.
Interment will be immediately after the service at White Hill Cemetery in Fulton, Arkansas.
