Irish Wiggins
October 6, 1946 - March 2, 2023
Mrs. Irish Wiggins, 76, of Stamps, Arkansas formerly of Detroit Michigan, passed away peacefully at Arkansas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Texarkana, Arkansas after a lengthy bout of health issues. Mrs. Wiggins had been a wonderful daughter, sister and wife. She left Stamps Arkansas after graduating from Ellis High School in search of a better life. She ended up settling in the Detroit, Michigan area where she worked as a production worker for a major auto parts manufacturer.
Ms. Wiggins was born to the late Mr. Lewis Charles Steele and the late Ms. Helen Mae Williams, October 6, 1946 in Stamps, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by both of them as well as her husband, Mr. Eugene Wiggins. They weren't fortunate enough to have had any children but continued to love and support each other until his death. She is survived by two brothers, Mr. Nathan (Marsha) Gilbert of Flint, Michigan and Mr. Jessie Howard of Stamps, Arkansas. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and former co-workers. B.B. her loving four-legged companion who was with her everywhere she went.
Her service has been scheduled for March 18, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel; 415 East First Street; Stamps, Arkansas 71860 where Pastor Charles Cooper of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Buckner, Arkansas will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. Interment will be immediately following the service at Lakeside Cemetery. There will be a public visitation at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, March 17, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M.
