Mr. Hershell Beal

December 22, 1955 – September 3, 2022

 

Mr. Hershell Beal, 66, of Texarkana, Arkansas formerly of Bradley, Arkansas passed away on the evening of Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Texarkana Hospice.  In his younger years, Mr. Beal was a farm worker and loved life to the fullest.

He was born to Mr. Almer Beal, Sr. and Mrs. Ruth Della Byrd-Beal, December 22, 1955, in Bradley Arkansas.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his wife of more than twenty-five years, Mrs. Dorothy Beal, six brothers, Almer Beal, Jr., Robert Beal, Robert T. Caldwell, Charles Beal, Terry Beal and Freddie Beal.  Four Sisters, Alma Ree Rollins, Lou Hattie Florence, Georgeann Roots and Annie Mae Beal. 

He is survived by two sons, Steven Beal of Lincoln, Missouri and Hershell Beal Jr of Texarkana, Texas.  Three daughters, Shenita Roots of Hope, Arkansas, Renia (Keenan) Govan of Katy, Texas and Anita (Connie) Bradford of Bossier City, Louisiana.  One Brother, Ray Harris of California, one sister, Frances Taylor of Texarkana, Texas, four grandchildren, Curtis Beal of Kansas City, Alexus Beal of Bradley, Arkansas, Shaylon Govan of Katy, Texas and Ka’Jamieon Love of Hope, Arkansas, one great-grandchild, very special niece and nephew, Vickie Johnson and Kevin Florence both of Texarkana, Texas as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Service will be held at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street; Stamps, Arkansas 71860, Sunday September 11, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. where Rev. Tommy Law will serve as Officiant and Eulogist.  Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Bradley, Arkansas immediately following the funeral service.  There will not be a visitation, the only viewing will be following the eulogy.

Because of CDC guidelines from COVID and the rise of cases, all who intend to attend will be required to wear a mask and adhere to current social distancing guidelines.

MASK ARE REQUIRED DURING THE FUNERAL SERVICE.  YOUR CONSIDERATION AND COOPERATION IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
