Mrs. Claudine Brown

April 9, 1945 – February 6, 2023

Mrs. Claudine Brown, 77, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away peacefully at her residence on the evening of Monday, February 6, 2023 after a long battle with illnesses.  Mrs. Brown was born to the late Mr. Rufus Franklin and the late Mrs. Johnnie Q. Grant-Franklin in Buffalo, New York.  She was a housekeeper both in and out of her home. 

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, Mr. Curtis Brown, her oldest daughter, Ms. Rosalind Harper and all of her siblings.  She is survived by her two sons, Mr. Phillip Wasson of San Diego, California and Mr. Curtis Brown of Eastern Arkansas.  One daughter, Ms. Deborah Brown of Hope, Arkansas.  Eight grandchildren, Aric Dismuke, Arial Harper, Airon Shawn Wasson, Aaron Harper, Adrian Brown, Arica Brown, Amaini Broadus and Aaron McQueen.  Two great grandchildren, Harmony Harper and Ka’Mya Richard.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Mrs. Brown spent her life managing her household, being a good wife, mother, grandmother and friend.   She spent a large amount of time worrying about other people, often letting herself go to ensure others were alright.

Her service will be held Sunday February 12, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. in the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home; 415 East First Street; Stamps, Arkansas where Rev. Alvis Hamilton will serve as Officiant and give Words of Comfort to the family.  There will be a public walk-through visitation in the Hamilton-Davis Chapel on Friday February 10, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 3:20 P.M.   Interment will be held immediately after.  Her service will be viewable live stream on the Hamilton-Davis Facebook page as well as on our website which is: https://www.hamiltondavisfuneralhome.com. 

It is requested that all who attend the visitation or the funeral wear masks.  This is not only to protect you but as well to be respectful and concerned about those who are beside and around you.
