Chester Finley
December 1, 1954 - May 9, 2023
Mr. Chester Finley, 68, of Stamps, Arkansas passed away peacefully at the Springs of Magnolia after a bout with health concerns. He was born to the late Mr. Mr. Andrew Finley, Sr. and the late Mrs. Audie Perry-Finley, December 1, 1954 in Stamps, Arkansas. Mr. Finley had worked at Alan White Furnishing of Stamps and while living in Little Rock, Arkansas at Baptist Health.
He was a proud graduate of Ellis High School, formerly the Lafayette County Training School. Upon graduation from high school, he immediately went on to serve in the United States Army,
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Mr. Andrew Finley, Sr. and Mrs. Audie Perry-Finley. Both of his sisters, Mrs. Rochelle Finley-Washington and Mrs. Bobbie Finely-Whitfield and a brother, Mr. Melvin Finley. He is survived by his two children, Ms. Natasha Finley and her brother Mr. Common Finley, both of Texarkana, Arkansas. Three brothers, Mr. Artie Finley, Mr. Andrew Finley, Jr and Mr. Carl Ray Finely all of Stamps, Arkansas. Three grandchildren, Anya Finley, Omarion Walker and Courtland Loudermill. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and former coworkers.
Funeral Service will be held at Hamilton-Davis funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street; Stamps, Arkansas, Saturday May 20, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. where Rev. Juerga Smith will serve as Oficiant and Eulogist. A public viewing will be held at Hamilton-Davis Chapel, Friday, May 19, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. Interment will be immediately after the funeral service at Lakeside #2 Valley Street in Stamps, Arkansas with Military Honors.
Masks are optional but highly recommended for the health, safety and wellbeing of those who will be around, beside, behind and in front of your. COVID is still very real and active so please do your part at the visitation and funeral service.
