Carlos Lamont Reynolds
February 23, 1974 – September 11, 2023
Mr. Carlos Lamont “Mont” Reynolds, 49, of Stamps, Arkansas passed away at Baptist Health Medical Center in Malvern, Arkansas after a sudden medical emergency. Mont was born to Mrs. Rosie Lee Reynolds-Edwards, February 23, 1974. He spent his formative years in the Stamps School District. He went on to work as a logger and farmer, doing odd jobs for many people in the community.
Mont was a young man who loved to have fun and had a laugh that was just infectious. He could be found regularly hanging out with friends sharing jokes. He loved to cook and had on many occasions challenged his mother to a cook-off. He was said to be an excellent cook but like most of us prefer, he prepared things that were certainly not healthy choice meals. He also loved the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, and often went hunting with people. It was said that he could skin, gut, and cut up a deer at an unbelievable rate of speed.
Lamont was preceded in death by all his grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was not fortunate enough to ever get married, nor did he have any children, but he is survived by his mother Mrs. Rosie Lee Reynolds and her husband Robert, a sister, Ms. Phelicia Williams and his only brother, Mr. Benjamin Butler, Jr. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
His service will be held at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home; 415 East First Street; Stamps, Arkansas 71860 on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. where his uncle, Pastor Sylvester Tatum will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. There will be a public visitation held Friday September 22, 2023, at Hamilton-Davis Chapel from 11:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M. and interment will be immediately following his service on Sunday.
