Mrs. Bobbie D. Keel
January 12, 1933 – February 27, 2023
Mrs. Bobbie D. Keel, 90, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Monday, February, 27, 2023. She was a wonderful cook, mother, grandmother and member of the United Methodist church family.
She was born to the late Mr. Ezell Witherspoon and the late Mrs. Isabell Green-Witherspoon, January 12, 1933 in Clow, Arkansas. As a young woman she met and married Mr. Wilbert Keel and remained married to him until his death.
Mrs. Keel was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, Mr. Wilbert Keel, one son, Daniel Keel, Three sisters and three brothers. She is survived by and leaves to cherish her many memories, two daughters, Ms. Cheryl Brooks and Ms. Rexann Charles both of Murfreesboro, Arkansas. One brother, Mr. Randolph Witherspoon of Chicago, Illinois. Four sisters, Ms. Joyce King and Ms. Evelyn Carter both of Chicago, Illinois, Ms. Hazel Preston of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Mrs. Shirley (John) McDaniel of Okolona, Arkansas. Six grandchildren, Monica (Roy) Snowden of Delight, Arkansas, Robbie (Angela) Brooks of Hope, Arkansas, Jeffrey (Lindsey) Smith of Nashville, Arkansas, Jeremy Rankins, Keaston Richardson and Malik Keel. Four great grandchildren Daveon Smith, Isaac Brooks, Landon Brooks and Isaiah Smith. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She loved gardening, fishing, cooking and just sitting on her porch relaxing and watching the days go by. When she was able to work she cooked and that overflowed into a whole bunch of households, feeding people amazing food.
Service for her will be held at Murfreesboro First United Methodist Church on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with an hour long visitation and viewing just prior to her funeral where Pastor James Fort will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. Interment will be immediately after the service at the Valley Grove Cemetery in Murfreesboro, Arkansas.
